Asian College of Teachers’ (ACT) B.Ed. program in Pre-primary Education aims to provide sound academic training alongside practical experience in this field of education. To help aspirants keep pace with the global standards for pre-primary education, Asian College of Teachers has developed this training program that includes a diverse range of methods and techniques to support children's development and framing of guidelines and curricula for the pre-primary segment. All its B.Ed. programs are duly affiliated to reputed international universities.

This program trains our participants in the core areas that include child development and curriculum planning for different stages, activities that aid emotional, social, motor skills, and language development. Since preschool is often a child's first exposure to the sciences, creative arts, writing, and music, the course helps the participants connect children with games, books, and activities as per their individual needs. The B.Ed. program also comprises lessons that acquaint the trainees with the correct methods to evaluate a child's interests during this development phase. They learn details of psychology and nutrition on one hand while developing curriculum-writing skills, and knowledge of classroom-reading techniques on the other. The trainees also learn to use reading to expand children's vocabularies as well as elementary counseling skills. The program covers classroom lectures and student-teaching experiences.

I was looking for a master’s to enhance my teaching career as well as gain an internationally recognised degree that’s affordable, flexible and manageable when I chanced upon Asian College of Teachers. I really enjoyed this program. This program is tailored in a way that suited me perfectly. I am a high school teacher and with this flexible program I was able to complete all the assignments at my own time and pace. The staff at ACT and EIU were especially helpful and they guided me through the program. I am indeed indebted to ACT, EIU and the staff for giving me this learning opportunity, assistance and support to earn myself a master’s degree while I was working!

I have completed my PG Diploma in TEFL/TESOL and continued my Master's with specialization in Educational Administration with ACT and EIU. My learning experiences with ACT have been phenomenal. I have been well guided by my instructors at all times and it has been a pleasure to be an alumni of this institute. After my PG Diploma I was appointed as an English teacher at a school I have been trying for many years and within 3 years of working I was promoted to the Head of the English Department as soon as I completed my Master's. The knowledge I have gained through these programs have been very helpful in my career and my creativity as a teacher and now a team leader. I am planning to continue my Doctorate at the same institute but still looking for guidance as to which field to take... But will start very soon.

It was a great experience taking up this course. Initially, I was skeptical about taking the course given my situation having a one year old kid to take care of along with my household chores and office work. When I started this course, I was not even sure if I would be able to make it. But then the course materials were very easy to follow and with the feedback on each assignment given by the course instructor I was able to complete the course with a first class grade. This course was structured very well and real time examples in each module helped me understand things better. For an aspiring teacher like me, this course was really useful. It helped me understand the future of education and teaching.

DISCLAIMER

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) undertakes a continuous review of its teacher training courses to ensure imparting high quality education. However, there might be circumstances outside of ACT’s control which might affect its stakeholders like if you are planning to teach in a different country, applying for a teaching license, pursuing higher studies or trying to get the certificate approved by the Ministry of Education (MoE) of a particular country then you can do so with the certificate issued by Asian College of Teachers (ACT). However, each country’s Ministry of Education (MoE) or educational bodies set certain standards that are indispensable for the pursuit of higher studies or teaching in schools in that country. So it can be a possibility that you may be able to use the certificate for higher studies or teaching purposes in one country and not in another. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you investigate thoroughly and check with the relevant authorities regarding the acceptance of the certificate issued by us before you enrol on a particular course. ACT strives to offer high-quality education and its certificates can be valuable for various purposes internationally, but still it is crucial for individuals to verify the specific recognition of the certificate in the country they intend to use it, especially for formal education or professional licensing purposes. This approach ensures that the stakeholders make informed decisions regarding their educational and career paths.
